Gardening - no excuses

It was a gloriously sunny day today and as we had been out for a walk yesterday there was no excuse not to get on with gardening.  The garden is quite messy at the moment - I wish I had more time to keep it tidy but it tends to get sidelined for other things.  Once I start gardening I realise how much I like it.  I tidied up the borders, sorted out the pots and mowed the lawn at the front and back.  I put into pots some primulas and pansies that I had bought yesterday from the garden centre to go near the back door.  Not much of interest in the way of plants and flowers at the moment although some daffodils are appearing in the swathe.  Also some beautiful hellebores.
